Mission, Evangelism, and Membership

The Mission, Evangelism & Membership Committee is responsible for reaching out to our members, our community and the needs of our global friends with Christ's compassionate arms of caring.

We seek to share the love of Jesus Christ with the community and the world. The following is just a sample of what we support by way of mission:

• Partnering with the Jr & Sr high youth, Souper Bowl Sunday offering for the Iowa County Food Bank of Marengo.
• Sent Valentine’s Day cards to our STAR’s and had the Jr & Sr high youth sign them.
• A donation was given to the stain glass window project.
• New shelving given to the Iowa County Food Bank of Marengo.
• Donating to the Iowa Valley Parents for Prom
• Supporting Josh & Tammy Hunt as they serve the Lord in East Asia.
• Donating to the One Great Hour of Sharing.
• Financially assisted 10 kids to go to camp.
• Provided food for the Congregational Picnic.
• Collected and donated 4 boxes of school supplies for the teachers at the Iowa Valley Elementary School.
• Donated to Camp Wyoming
• Put together a Church Directory.
• Donated to Kennedi Kisses to help families with funeral expenses that have had a child pass away.
• Collected and donated personal hygiene items for the Iowa County Food Bank of Marengo.
• Donated to the Christmas Joy Offering.
• Donated to the L.O.V.E. Network.
• Donated to the Iowa County Ministerial Alliance.
• Provided pizza to the inmates in the Iowa County Jail around Christmas.
